ZZ Top

ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1969.

With their mixture of Texas blues, blues rock, boogie, southern rock and hard rock, ZZ Top were particularly successful in the 1980s and filled concert halls and stadiums on extensive tours.

The band's members were Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and Dusty Hill from 1969 until his death in 2021.

Beginning in the late 1970s, Gibbons and Hill sported the group's trademark long full beards, performed in long trench coats, and wore heavily tinted sunglasses and Stetsons.
