Wrathchild

Wrathchild was a British thrash / glam rock band formed in 1980.

This band was known for their extravagant, shrill appearance (make-up, wigs, rivets).

Wrathchild was founded in 1980 in Evesham, England by Marc Engel and Phil "Wrathchild" Vokins. They recruited Rocky Shades as lead vocalist and Brian "Thunderburst" on drums, Parry. Phil Vokins and Brian Parieren left the band in 1981. This was followed by the recognized guitarist Lance Rakete from the band Medusa and the drummer Eddie Stern. After releasing a number of demos, such as Mascara Massacre, in 1982, the band was offered a recording deal by Bullet Records. Here they released their first album Stackheel Strutt in 1983. In 1984 the band released their debut studio album, Stakk Attakk, which included covers of the Gary Glitter classics "Doing Alright with the Boys" and "Trash Queen".
