Slayer

Slayer was an influential thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. Together with Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax they formed the "Big Four" of Thrash Metal. Because of their lyrics, the band caused regular controversy. Four Slayer albums were awarded gold records in the United States. In 2007 and 2008 the band received a Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category. On January 22nd, 2018, the band announced their breakup on Facebook after one last world tour. In early December 2019, the band announced that the concert played on November 30, 2019 at The Forum in Inglewood was the band's last.
