Fleshgod Apocalypse is a technical death metal band from Rome that was formed in 2007.
The band was formed in April 2007 by Cristiano Trionfera (electric guitar), Francesco Struglia (drums), Paolo Rossi (electric bass, clear vocals) and Francesco Paoli (drums, guitar, vocals; otherwise also guitarist and singer at Hour of Penance ) founded. Together they recorded Promo ‘07 at the 16th Cellar Studio, under the direction of producer Stefano "Saul" Morabito. With this release they first gained more attention in the death metal scene, which allowed them to get a contract with Neurotic Records.
