Disgorge is a death metal band from San Diego, California (USA). They play an extreme form of death metal, deathgrind.
Disgorge was founded in 1992 by Bryan Ugartechea, Tony Freithoffer and Ricky Myers. After the first demo recordings, the band took a break, then the second demo was released in 1995, which brought the band their first record deal with Extremities Productions. For the second album, Disgorge then switched to Unique Leader Records. The music group is currently under contract with Crash Music.
Bassist Ben Marlin died of cancer on January 2, 2008 at the age of 32.
