Death Wolf is a Swedish horror punk and heavy metal band. They were originally founded as Devils Whorehouse and started out as the Misfits / Samhain cover band
Devils Whorehouse was founded as a Misfits / Samhain cover band in 2000, but soon started writing their own material.
In March 2011 they decided to change their original name and now continue under the name Death Wolf because "the music and philosophy of the orchestra has outgrown its name". The name change was followed by a self-titled album that was released on the now defunct Regain Records label.
