Cradle of Filth is a British extreme metal band from Suffolk, England, formed in Colne Lancs in 1991. In contrast to many other metal bands with a style that is less suitable for the masses, Cradle of Filth was able to record increasing commercial success, which is why many representatives of Black Metal are accused of being sold out and commercialized.
