Bloodbath is a death metal supergroup from Stockholm, Sweden.
Bloodbath was founded by Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), Dan Swanö (e.g. Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, Infestdead), Anders Nyström and Jonas Renkse (both Katatonia).
Since the founding members were mainly active in other bands, Bloodbath concerts only became possible through changes in the line-up.
