Battle Beast is a Finnish heavy metal band formed in Helsinki in 2008.
Their musical style is based on elements of hard rock from the 1980s.
The debut album Steel was released in Finland in 2011 by the Finnish label Hype Records.
In late 2011, Nuclear Blast signed the band and released their debut album (with a changed cover) on January 27, 2012 worldwide.
The band won several awards, including the Wacken Open Air Newcomer Competition.
In 2012 they supported the European and Russian tour of Nightwish's Imaginaerum.
